New Adventure Van, 4x4, AC, Off-Grid Heat/Electricity

Our adventure van was professionally designed and built by Moxie Van Co. featuring King and Twin size beds to comfortably sleep 3 adults or 3 + 1 child (4 seatbelts). The spacious high roof interior allows you to stand up easily, and at 19 feet long, it drives like a normal car, can go to any campsite (even tent sites), and the off-road tires and AWD allow you to venture into places other campers and vans can only dream of. Fully equipped for your road trip adventure, be it off-grid or traditional camping, including a high tech inverter power system that charges while you drive, has solar panels, and can plug into normal 110v outlets or 30 amp outlets. Moxie's sophisticated heating system allows this incredibly well insulated van to stay heated for up to 2 weeks on a tank of gas, which makes it perfect for cool nights in the spring or fall and Ski or Snowmobile adventures in the winter! In the summer, the multi direction Air Conditioner (shore power required) keeps you cool as well as the off-grid multi speed roof fan.

Features include EZ Pass for tolls for trips in New England, Apple Play/Android Auto, a refrigerator/freezer, sink, electrical cables for hookups, a Bug Wall roll down screen for open-air sleeping, camp chairs & table, sheets, blankets, & pillows, induction burner, butane stove, cooking and eating utensils, pots and pans, colander, enamelware plates, bowls and mugs, French press & peculator coffee makers, paper towels, small garbage bags, waste basket, biodegradable soap (for dishes, hands and hair), RV toilet paper, first aid kit, headlamps, camping lights, portable fan, many plugs for USB and 110v charging. Options include a platform bike rack suitable for E-Bikes, camping tents, and other supplies available on request.

Located in Freeport, ME, you can get to us directly on Amtrak from Boston North Station or Portland Amtrak station (free delivery to Freeport Amtrak station) and we are only 30 minutes from Portland International Airport (PWM). Uber/taxis are about $40 from the airport or we can provide airport pick up for a fee. We also provide free parking for your vehicle if you drive to us. Starting in Freeport, you are perfectly positioned to explore the best of Maine's coast, including Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor, Maine's extensive mountains, lakes, and wilderness areas like Baxter State Park, Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument, the Allagash Wilderness, North Conway and New Hampshire's White Mountains, or even Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

To help you feel more comfortable and to get the most out of your trip, we provide instructional videos on our YouTube channel for the van's many features that allow you to prepare for your trip in advance and avoid a long orientation when you arrive. Our coded door entry even allows for contactless "check ins" to get you quickly on your way. We provide our guests with a helpful Adventure Van Manual with an inventory of what is provided, how things work, as well as our suggestions of things to see and do in the area. No smoking, vaping, nor drug use allowed.

NOTE: Insurance is required if you plan to drive the vehicle. We can provide a special camper van rental policy through RVShare that covers you from the time you pick up the campervan until the time you return it for $31 a day. Alternatively, you can provide us with proof of insurance showing that your policy will cover the campervan during the rental period.
